Project Challenge Overview
Project Challenge is a program for identified gifted students in the POBCSD school district. This program operates as a school within a school. As lead teacher, I am responsible for curriculum development and implementation, scheduling, transportation, orders, communication with the parent community, and classroom teachers. These students demonstrate the need for an academic challenge above and beyond the regular classroom curriculum. Our program successfully pivoted to remote instruction in response to COVID 19 school closures. Virtual facilitators and field trips replaced in-person experiences.
